We are looking for a Financial Accountant who will look after our accounting operations and be responsible for the day-to-day management of financial transactions and procedures. 

Key Responsibilities:

• Preparation of monthly management accounts including detailed variance analysis and working with budget holders to explain and report on the monthly results.
• Reviewing performance against budget on a monthly and YTD basis and preparing financial data to report back to the business with key insights to improve company performance. 
• Cashflow management across all group companies and successfully planning the payment of invoices across the business. To be the product champion of the Concur expense solution and ensure adoption across the main user group. 
• Helping to create a new framework to analyse and report on client revenue and business unit profitability. This will also lead to the opportunity to carry out operational reviews and to report back on findings and implement recommendations. 
• Assisting the CFO to continually improve the internal control framework and ensuring compliance across the business. 

Requirements:

• Part qualified or newly qualified with a minimum of two years' experience in a finance function.
• First time exam passes are essential.
• Self-confident with excellent communication skills.
• Technically strong.
• Ability to manage competing priorities.
• Has the desire to make a difference.
• Commercially aware.
