Finance Analyst

A flourishing nationally-known retailer with a £25 million turnover are searching for an ambitious Graduate Finance Analyst to work alongside their CFO to complete the reporting and analysis for the finance team. The business are in a very stable position and they require someone on a permanent basis.

In your role as the Finance Analyst you will take on various duties and responsibilities.

Your main responsibilities will include:
*Manipulating and normalising multiple data in the past in prior to exploring the data
*Insight creation - and how to use analysis / research to get this insight
*Marketing database, digital platforms and transactional data
*Big data - structured / unstructured (just understanding of this area required as few experts exist!), and how it can be used to add value to customers
*Create and deploy predictive and prescriptive modelling to power world-class customer experiences / programs across all touchpoints
*Understands and can lead strategic recommendations around targeting, segmentation, channel strategy and insight and how all of these can be stitched together into measureable communication programs and campaigns
*Performance measurement - define measurement frameworks around business, marketing and customer metric. Design, develop and deploy framework in appropriate tools
*Performance optimisation - set up robust test, learn and optimisation programs
*Data visualisation - data story telling

If you have any experience in the retail industry then please clearly detail this on your CV. Likewise, should you have had any exposure to Microsoft Excel (VBA, SQL, pivot tables/vlookups/macros) then please make sure this is highlighted. The business are offering a full study support package for any candidate who is not yet qualified. The salary will depend on experience and the length of study still remaining.
