Page Personnel are recruiting a Cost Accountant for a well established company based in Leek, Staffordshire.

A well established company with offices based in Leek.
Description
As a Cost Accountant, you will report into the Financial Controller, responsible for Cost Accounting and managing a small team.
Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: managing a small team of accounts staff, including 121s and appraisals; assist in accounting for stock, margin and cost of sales; monthly stock reconciliations; KPI analysis; costs of new products; liaise with sales team regarding pricing and promotions; variance analysis.
Profile
The successful candidate will:
- have recent knowledge of working in a Manufacturing/Cost Accounting role - Essential
- Be studying towards ACCA/CIMA - or have equivalent experience - Essential
- Have excellent verbal and written communication skills - Essential
- Have strong IT skills, particularly MS Excel - Essential
