Finance Business Partner

A global restaurant chain is looking to recruit an ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified candidate to join its commercial finance function.

Managing a team of 2 senior finance analysts you will be a Finance Business partner to the Managing Director to look at longer term strategy including performance reviews, segmentation and distribution of growth/challenge at regional and restaurant level. You will review all aspects of the existing model, identify opportunities and drive through future improvements to both top line sales and profitability.

Main duties include:

Work directly with the MD to highlight areas of strength & opportunities to learn as well as challenging under performance and improving results.

Provide commentary and insight into reports produced by the team which are presented at board level.

Analysis against prior year, budgets and latest forecasts which improves business decision making.

Finance lead for new projects working with other functions to track costs, understand impact across the business and maximise future returns.

Modelling assumptions for Operations and other departments to understand financial and non-financial impact of new initiatives.

Produce robust Budget and Forecast for costs within the company P&L and provide methodology and assumptions. Ensure there is understanding for the budget from Ops level to CFO.

You will be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with experience of partnering non finance and managing team members. Retail experience would be highlight desirable.
