Management Accountant

Our client is a charity with international profile. We are seeking to recruit an immediately available and CCAB Qualified Management Accountant to join their team, initially on an interim basis for 3 months but with the potential to develop into a permanent opportunity, depending on progress. You will report into the Head of Finance with responsibility for delivering robust and timely management accounts. Key duties are outlined below.

• Responsible for the on-time production of full monthly management accounts.

• Maintenance and reconciliation of monthly intercompany control accounts, directly liaising with the Management Accountant - International.

• Responsible for the Group cash management, working with the Management Accountant - International to co-ordinate UK and overseas requirements.

• Maintenance of the Fixed Asset Register, in conjunction with the Facilities Department.

• Update and reporting of monthly KPI Performance statistics.

• Reviewing and seeking to improve finance systems, procedures and reporting to make management information production more efficient and accurate.

• Co-ordination and production of UK annual budgets and quarterly re-forecasts for use in Group consolidated schedules.

• Collaboration with wider Finance Team to prepare schedules, reports and draft accounts information for the annual financial statements and audit thereof, complying with the Year End Finance Timetable.

This is a key role in a rapidly evolving organisation with scope for development and progress. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in delivering management accounts and be immediately available to start the assignment.
