With an exceptional senior leadership team and a number of staff benefits they are seeking a lead in finance to support and enhance the finance function.

Your new role
As Finance Director you shall provide timely and accurate financial reporting and analysis to track performance and make optimal business decisions. Along with analytics and insight to help drive business decisions, you shall work as a business partner with the senior leadership team and be an integral part of the finance function. With ownership over detailed budgets and forecasting you shall lead the preparation and coordination of all financial reporting requirements and manage the team to deliver in the areas of cost accounting, accounts payable, accounts receivable, cash flow, payroll, fixed assets, financial reporting, tax compliance, and other areas of general accounting concern. Seeking to deliver changes to process and procedure in order to enhance the department you shall also be part of a new system implementation due to take place over the coming 18 months. A keen business partner you shall also work closely with the production and manufacturing departments in order to deliver strategic direction through effective financial reporting.

What you'll need to succeed
You shall have a minimum of five years of progressive Finance experience in a manufacturing environment, fully conversant with UK statutory reporting requirements you shall also have knowledge of US GAAP reporting requirements. A qualified accountant (CIMA ACA ACCA) you shall also have experience of working to tight reporting deadlines. Knowledge of Sarbanes-Oxley is highly desirable
