Our client is a high growth PE backed company with operations worldwide. Having recently secured significant investment they are now looking to recruit a CFO to assist the management team during this exciting stage of growth. Assisting in long term planning, an important part of this role will include the evaluation of business performance and importantly the CFO will be a key strategic partner to the CEO.
Key responsibilities:
- Oversee and coordinate the finance function across the group of companies
- Ensure management information is reported accurately and on a timely basis
- Assist in budget setting and ensure budgets are adhered to
- Cash-flow management
- Preparation of monthly management accounts and analysis and interpretation of results
- Preparation of Board packs
- Provide objective financial evaluation of strategic proposals
- Evaluate sales and margins and provide relevant data to the sales management team
- Periodically review customer and supplier contracts
- Keep stock under constant review and within the target stock holding

This is a broad CFO role which also encompasses HR, IT and Legal. The successful candidate is likely to have at least five years post-qualified experience, preferably in manufacturing or retail. Previous Private Equity experience advantageous.
