Accountant

Castle Accountancy & Finance are recruiting for a dynamic, self-motivated Accountant for a modern, forward thinking accountancy practice based in Scarborough, North Yorkshire.

• This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Accountant to join an established and growing team.
• You will be responsible for the day to day accounting requirements for a variety of different clients providing a full, fast, 'can-do ' service to a broad client base
• Your ethos will be all about working hard and aiming to exceed team and client expectations wherever possible

Requirements:

• To have a thorough understanding of UK Tax system
• Be able to produce detailed accounts for a variety of businesses including; sole traders, partnerships and limited companies.
• Be well organised, methodical in your approach and have good attention to detail
• Maintain a high quality presentation of work
• Be competent using QuickBooks/Sage/IRIS/Xero/Excel/manual record keeping
• Be either qualified AAT level 3 or 4; or Qualified by relevant experience
• Have the ability to work under pressure and achieve deadlines
• Be a good communicator through all channels and at all levels
• Be able to effectively prioritise client needs
