Senior Capital Accountant

Your new company:
One of the UK's largest housing providers and award-winning property developer. This organisation has a strong mix of units including commercial units, shared ownership and outright sales.

Your new role:
You will be responsible for the preparation of financial and management reporting for the group development finance accounts and assist in the provision of tax planning advice and guidance in relation to current and future development schemes. This organisation hope to deliver 1500 units this year.

• Ensure the reconciliation of all capital related balance sheet accounts is carried out in line with group timetables
• Prepare all related statutory notes and disclosures in line with group reporting and statutory requirements in time for the annual external audit
• Management accounts, budgets and forecasts relating to the scheme accounts and providing financial management information to inform business decisions

What you'll need to succeed:
You will be a qualified accountant with significant experience of reconciling balance sheet accounts and good working knowledge of Excel to intermediate level. Recent experience of working within a Housing property environment and experience of development accounting is desirable but not essential.
