Finance Manager

Rapidly expanding real estate and construction client with a pipeline of exciting projects following the capture of global inward investment are looking to recruit a hardworking and results focused finance professional. This is a number two appointment and a senior hire in the organisation.

Reporting to a recently appointed Finance Director, you will assume full responsibility for the day to day finance department and provide a high level of financial and commercial to key stakeholders. Key duties include managing the accounting function for all projects (budgets, forecasts, variance analysis), develop forecasting models (balance sheet, p &l), cashflow management and full collation and submission of the monthly finance pack. You will work closely with the FD to challenge existing reports and identify areas of process improvements and automation, lead and develop the finance team, oversee and deliver periodic closedown procedures and due diligence and auditing of site cost analysis and support operations with profit forecasts and statutory submissions.

The successful candidate must be a self-starter, be proactive, inquisitive and have the desire to challenge and improve all aspects of finance and the wider business. You will possess strong analytical and reporting skills and the gravitas and credibility to build relationships and influence senior business heads and stakeholders.
