My client, a company in the Aerospace industry, is seeking a qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) accountant for their role of Project Accountant. Duties include:
* Ensure that cash flow is maximised on all projects by timely submission of invoices and liaising with the IPT's to ensure prompt collection of debts, and suppliers are paid once the cash has been received from the customer.
* Preparation of the project sales trading plans with the appropriate Project Manager or Project Engineering Manager.
* Assist in the posting of Journals to SAP and help increase the project accuracy in SAP, working with the project IPT.
* Update the rolling IPT financial forecasts for orders, sales, revenue, margin, cash, & WIP using information gathered as part of the contract review process, or IPT discussions, analysing risks and opportunities against the forecast.
Experience of dealing with the public sector as well as having worked in a project focused or bid environment will be beneficial in this role. This person must be competent at data analysis and interpretations with good knowledge of SAP.
