Our dynamic and growth focused International client, a market leader in their sector is currently looking to recruit a new Group Financial Controller. This is a rewarding and challenging high profile opportunity reporting directly into the divisional finance director and will be the main point of contact and interface to their international parent.

The key responsibilities of this new group role will be to oversee the activities of the finance team and to ensure the companies finance function is organised and efficient in it's production of accurate financial and management accounts as well as:
Â
Responsibility for the development, support and training of 3 direct reports.
Â
Group reporting, treasury management activities and accounting for head office costs.
Â
The management and development of the group finance function.
Â
Submission of group consolidated P&L and balance sheets.
Â
Consolidated budgets and forecasts.
Â
Treasury management and banking covenant compliance.
Â
The timely production and preparation of internal financial reports and annual statutory accounts for the Group and UK's businesses.
Â
Participation in monthly business unit performance review meetings and to be the finance lead for local/group projects and initiatives.
Â
The administration of group salary reviews and bonus schemes.
Â
The provision of financial modeling and analysis; establishing the compliance of group standards and processes.
Â
The maintenance, implementation and continuous improvement of appropriate systems and internal controls.
Â
The successful candidate will be an experienced and confident Group Financial Controller / Group Finance Manager / Group Accountant with strong interpersonal & communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively as well as independently. This role will require the successful candidate to challenge, facilitate and influence at all levels across the group. Essential to this role is an expertise and proven experience in the areas of Financial Consolidation, International Group Accounting, IFRS, accounting for acquisitions & disposals and Treasury and Tax compliance. We are looking for a candidate with a high attention to detail and proven ability to manage multiple and competing priorities simultaneously. Candidates must be fully qualified ACA, ACCA or CIMA.
