Working with the Finance Director and key internal stakeholders, the business are seeking to recruit a Senior Financial Planning Analyst to execute financial planning and control activities to support their global network and drive business improvements.
The role is an exciting mix of financial reporting, planning and analysis and would suit a first time mover from practice who is seeking a role more varied than just core reporting or a strong industry qualified, excited by the prospect of working within a highly diverse role. The business requires a qualified accountant, ideally ACA (ACCA, CIMA still considered) with previous experience of reporting & controls and a proactive mindset. The role will involve but will not be restricted to the following:-
- Executing financial analysis and control activities, including budget/forecast/trend analysis and preparation of the month-end closure and compliance.
- Draw up financial reporting and treasury reports and annual statements and maintain contacts with UK & International partners (management, sales, Vendors, etc) on finance and reporting related issues.
- Apply finance and control policies and tools and maintain contacts with partners (management, Sales, Vendors, etc) on finance and control related issues across the UK & International markets.
- Advise management and sales on business issues and opportunities for improvement, based on conducted financial analysis and/or executed control activities.
- Apply, monitor and support in the implementation of financial and administrative processes and procedures, identify opportunities for improvement and suggest possible solutions.
