Commercial Finance Manager

Commercial Finance Manager - Hampshire - £45,000-£55,000 DOE

Wade Macdonald is currently working with one of Europe's largest and fastest growing technology distribution and specialist service providers on the recruitment of a Commercial Finance Manager. In this highly commercial role, you will report directly into the Head of Commercial Finance, partnering closely with the sales teams based on site.

You will be responsible for assisting the teams based in Hampshire on driving profitability and Return on Capital Employed, through providing high quality financial analysis, appropriate challenge and balanced decision making.

Further key responsibilities include:

Developing a thorough understanding of the P&L and the drivers of profitability through presentation of the sales and commercial contribution statements.

Being responsible for the reconciliation and onward reporting of vendor balance sheet accounts, including regular reviews with vendors and internal commercial teams.

Providing support to the sales teams in negotiation and tracking of performance of customer tenders and any associated customer rebate agreements.

Being a key contact for business area in three year, annual and quarterly planning cycles. Ensuring that the business is familiar with forecast and year on year variances and work with them to maximise opportunities and mitigate risk.

Performing calculation and review of sales and commercial bonuses.

Driving continual improvement in the Finance function and out in the business.

Provide ad-hoc support to the sales/commercial business leads as required.

To be considered for this role, you will be a highly commercial, Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) with strong interpersonal skills and proven track record for completing in-depth and effective financial analysis and interpretation skills. The ideal candidate will also be comfortable working in a fast-paced, service orientated organisation.
