Butler Rose is pleased to be supporting a market leader with their search for an Assistant Management Accountant / Analyst. This role will be well suited to a switched on Graduate who has picked up a few years experience within an Analytical role.

To be considered for this position you must be very proficient with accounting systems and have a proven track record of picking up I.T related duties quickly. This role will also encompass supporting the Senior Finance Team with management accounts.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Assisting with the preparation of monthly Management Accounts and stock analysis.
• Assisting with the preparation of ad hoc management reporting as and when requested.
• Preparation and posting of journal entry e.g. Sales accruals and associated rebate journals, stock adjustments
• Completion of standard monthly reporting e.g. Sales & stock reports
• Various different reconciliation duties
• Act as key contact between business functions to facilitate management
• Management of manual credit note, and invoice transactions.
• Management of chart of accounts and associated data attributes.
• Interrogating and investigating any issues on daily and monthly data including integrity checks e.g. accounting ledgers are in balance and ensuring transactions are recorded on correct document types.
• Management and ownership of masterdata process for creation of new customers, suppliers and products.
• Purchase ledger data management e.g. chasing action on overdue purchase orders, ensuring costs are coded correctly, cancelling aged open purchase orders, and aged GRNI.
• Streamline process implementation
