Financial Accountant

Our client, an early phase Fashion company based in London are seeking a qualified Financial Accountant with a strong technical understanding to strengthen their finance team. This is an excellent job opportunity for someone seeking to move from practice to industry. You will become an integral part of the finance team as its entering an exciting growth stage due to recent acquisitions.

The overall purpose of this job will be leading and ownership of the month end reporting function, whilst providing monthly analysis and reconciliation for key balances for its subsidiary accounts. The Finance function has a critical role to play by ensuring effective management and control of this company's resources, production and communication of financial information and ensuring compliance with relevant legislation.

This is an outstanding opportunity for a candidate who is looking for their step into industry, as the successful candidate is likely to have an audit background.

Responsibilities will include:
Supporting the production of Statutory accounts under FRS1O2.
Coordinating response to queries raised by external auditors.
Overall responsibility for managing and reporting on the Debtors Control accounts.
Leading and ownership of the month end reporting function.

The candidate:
Qualified ACA/ACCA.
Strong technical understanding
Knowledge of IFRS and FRS 102 essential .
