Are you a driven, newly qualified accountant seeking a progressive role in a leading group that are recognised for hiring the highest calibre of candidates? One of the largest property development groups in the UK is looking for a Management Accountant to join their Finance team in a role offering a great deal of progression.
Reporting into the Divisional Finance Manager and working alongside a team of highly competent Finance Business Partners, your responsibilities will include:
*Advise, challenge and coach budget holders and divisional directors on financial performance
*Production of timely analysis reports, of which can be presented to the business
*Prepare reports and commentaries on the impact of projects on the long-term plans for the business
*Providing support on the annual/ monthly/ quarterly budgets and forecasts
*Full responsibility of delivering month end, quarterly reports and statutory reports
*Taking lead on enhancement projects on improving the templates in which the reporting is completed
The successful candidate will be as a minimum at finalist level or ideally newly qualified chartered accountant (ACA or equivalent) that is highly academic. The ideal candidate will be a strong influencer and communicator - able to build effective working relationships across and within organisations. A strong understanding of accounting is necessary, and this position would suit either a soon to be qualified finalist or newly qualified accountant. To truly exceed in this role you will need a keen interest in property, housing or real estate.
