Commercial Finance Manager

A growing retail/services SME based in South London is looking for a developed, well-rounded, and creative Commercial Finance Manager to be a key part of the continued growth of the business. The head of a multi-disciplinary team with the aim of developing all facets of the company, the successful candidate will gain excellent exposure across all divisions; will be at the forefront - and driving - strategic, commercial, and business developments; and will continually develop their role within the company.

Job Duties Include:

• Leading and developing the commercial and financial functions within the company.
• Be at the forefront of commercial financial assessment of business improvements, collaborations, and acquisitions.
• Ability to drive the organisations P and L, strategy, commercial interests, and business developments.
• Provide commercial finance assistance to the development of the retail function.
• Gaining approval for new business and investment decisions.
• Commercially lead business development and actively win - and negotiate for - new contracts.
• Responsibility and progressing of a multi-disciplinary finance team which encompasses sales, business development, retail, and procurement and finance.
• Development and maintenance of relationships within an SME sized internal team as well as key strategic relationships with existing and potential partners.

Candidate Requirements:

• Candidate must have a recognised professional accountancy qualification.

• Necessity for at least five years of experience within a Private Sector company.

• Strong degree of commercial exposure.

• Candidate must have strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• Developed analytical skills and creative problem solving.

• Ability to develop and improve sales and business development functions within a company.
