Finance Busines Partner

A FTSE 250retail business in Essex with over 1600 stores are looking for a Finance Business Partner ( ACA/ACCA/CIMA) to provide analytical and critical insights to support key decision making process within the Trading team.

Key Finance Business Partner responsibilities will include:

• Managing the end to end forecasting and budgeting process for sales & gross contribution for the responsible categories
• Constructively challenging the Trading team to deliver a robust forecast
• Ensure a collaborative and transparent forecast is delivered with complete buy in at all levels
• Analysing and communicating business performance in relevant categories with clear explanations of any material variances
• Creation and support of modelling to allow trading department to more accurately track and forecast full year overrider and growth overrider figures
• Brand profitability sales analysis

Your characteristics:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA) or overseas equivalent
• Strong understanding of forecasting
• The ideal candidate will have had previous retail / grocery experience
• Excellent communication skills
• Advanced excel skills
• Excellent organisation skills and multitasking abilities
