Financial Planning & Reporting Analyst

One of Europe's largest and fastest growing technology distribution and specialist service providers are currently recruiting for a Financial Planning and Reporting Analyst. The business is currently going through an exciting period of change and expansion which you will be very much part of. The company is FTSE 100 listed , specialising in international sales, marketing, distribution and business support services, employing over 9,500 people worldwide with an annual turnover of in excess of £10.6 billion.
Reporting directly to the Financial Planning and Reporting Manager, the primary function of the role is to help improve and deliver accurate, timely and insightful financial information to the business.
Key responsibilities;
·Support the timely and accurate weekly reporting such as forecasts, KPI's, headcount reporting etc
·Help to develop and produce meaningful reporting suite to enable all levels of management and fully understand and monitor performance of all elements of the business
·Undertake detailed financial investigation
·Help develop robust business modelling tools
·Assist with the production of financial and operational KPI's
·Assist with the co-ordination of monthly management and board reports
·Support the annual budget, subsequent forecasts and business planning process
·Liasing and building relationship with other areas of finance and the business

In order to be considered for the role you will have strong analytical skills, attention to detail along with strong commercial awareness. You will have previous experience of data analysis, presentation and reporting tools. Advance Excel skills are essential along with previous modelling skills in excel, ability to use VBA.
