Our client, a rapidly expanding investment firm with a growing portfolio, is looking to add a commercially focused Management Accountant to the team.
Reporting to the Financial Controller and supporting an Operations Director the Management Accountant will effectively act as a divisional business partner providing insight and analysis to one of the business’ fastest growing divisions.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Production of monthly Management Accounts and KPI information
- Working closely with Operations to understand and challenge information and to produce quarterly forecasts and annual budgets
- Lead monthly Management Reviews with Operations Directors and Executive Directors
- Monthly Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns
The role will be ideally suited to a strong Management Accountant who is looking to move their career towards that of a Finance Business Partner.
The incumbent will be responsible for ensuring financial governance, continuous improvement and efficiencies are managed.
The role will suit a qualified or part qualified accountant.
