Cost Accountant

Elevation Recruitment Group are currently looking to recruit an experienced Cost Accountant to work for a prestigious Manufacturing business based in the Nottinghamshire area.

The successful candidate will have proven experience of inventory accounting in a fast paced manufacturing environment, capable of producing accurate management accounts and contributing to high level product, material and labour costing work.

Duties & Responsibilities will include:

- Ensuring all material lists and records are kept up to date with regards to labour and material costs
- BOM Management and PPV's
- Operating PI Accounts
- Coordinating year-end inventory count
- Working with buyers to analyse spend and inventory levels
- Working with production to review inventory locations and bookings procedures

Elevation Senior Finance would be keen to speak with applicants with the following skills and experiences:

- Cost/Inventory Accounting experience within a fast paced manufacturing environment
- Excellent communicator
- Excellent understanding of effective stock management
- Good planning/ organisational skills
- Analytical thinking
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to communicate with members of staff at all levels
- CIMA Qualified or QBE
