Country Finance Director

A blue chip multinational pharmaceutical company are currently seeking a bilingual Finance professional to manage all aspects of finance for Germany. You will be a member of the senior management team in Germany and will report to the European CFO based in the UK. Specific duties will include:-

Manage financial and management accounting including budgeting and financial planning in accordance with HQ requirements. Direct outsourced finance related services.

Support all Business Units and local functions in the sales company and ensure that the technical and administrative processes within the finance department support the strategic goals of the business.

Ensure compliance with local and corporate requirements with respect to good financial practices and appropriate and timely reporting. Manage Customer Service and the logistics/supply chain within the country in close cooperation with HQ functions. Manage all general office administration.

Be the local counterpart for internal and external audits and Government authorities in relation to finance, tax and customs matters.

Ideally you will have relevant financial qualifications, strong knowledge of local GAAP and IFRS and be fluent in German and English. You will have a proactive approach, experience of working independently and have the ability to motivate teams.
