With multiple operations across the UK the business provides a range of products to several high profile customers. Progressive and successful, the business is preparing for a further growth phase. 

With full P & L responsibility the new Finance Director will play a critical role as part of the management team in driving the profitability of the company. Acting as business partner to the Managing Director and the wider Senior Management team, the Finance Director will actively engage with the business to drive efficiencies and improve operational performance as the business continues to increase its market share in the UK.

Key responsibilities will include:

- Assisting in developing the future business strategies and value creation;
- Leading, coaching and developing the finance team;
- Driving continuous process improvement in the finance function and across operations;
- Developing and improving reporting ensuring it is aligned to the business;
- Taking an active leadership role coaching and mentoring non finance managers;
- Ensuring the business meets its business, Group and legal fiduciary duties;
- Managing the IT team ensuring they are business connected and fully value adding.
 

The ideal candidate will be a qualified accountant with a strong technical background and several years experience in a similar role within an FMCG environment. You will have excellent communication skills, a positive work attitude and collaborative approach.
