Assistant Management Accountant

Macildowie Finance is recruiting for a £350m turnover services business based just outside of Central Nottingham for the role of Management Accountant. The position sits within the commercial projects team and reports into the Lead Management Accountant.

This is a seriously good opportunity for a highly analytical individual coming from an Assistant Accounting or Assistant Management Accounting position. The role is paying £25-30k. The business are keen for the successful candidate to progress quickly within the team and are offering study support.

Duties Include:
- Month End Accounting
- Prep and review of balance sheet reconciliations
- Stock Accounting
- Management information and reporting
- Variance Analysis reports
- Project Analytics
- Commercially driven financial recommendations
- Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
- Other ad-hoc duties as required

The successful candidate will be part or fully qualified (ACCA/CIMA) and have experience in communicating confidently with stake-holders at all levels of the business. You must be hardy and proactive. Good systems experience and previous experience within an analytical role is a must.
