Management Accountant in a City of London based insurance firm


An established insurance firm is looking to hire a Management Accountant to join their finance function. The company has a global presence, and many hotels across London; but this role will be looking after, and sitting in, the City of London branch.


Your new role

The objective of the role is primarily, to look after the Management Accounts, and then report these into the Group Financial Controller for the owning company.
The role will also require you to reconcile the month end balance sheets, and process the VAT returns when needed. Though this is a large, global business; within the hotel - the finance team is small, and so you will need to assist the Financial Accountant with the budgeting and forecasting when required.


What you'll need to succeed

In order to be considered for this role you will be ACA or ACCA qualified, and either still in practice, or with less than 3 years PQE.
Experience in auditing in the financial services or insurance sector would be beneficial, but not essential.
