Senior Management Accountant

Hudson James Human Capital Group are currently recruiting for a senior management accountant to join a large packaging solutions business based within the Greater Manchester region. This organisation are a progressive and innovative player within this segment of the market with a genuine ethos based on people development. Working at this circa £20m t/o site you will report into the site Financial Director and be a key member of the management structure, providing key financial support to assist the site in achieving key objectives.

Reporting into the regional finance manager, you will be responsible for the weekly and monthly reporting cycle and supporting the preparation of the budgeting and forecasting process. You will prepare and present financial information and work closely with budget holders to ensure that spends remain within agreed guidelines.

To be considered for this position would will be CIMA/ACA/ACCA qualified and have experience within a similar position in a manufacturing environment, in particular experience within the consumer sector would be preferable although not essential. Advanced knowledge of Excel and accounting software is essential and experience of systems improvements and streamlining operations would be beneficial.
