Oliver James Associates is proud to be partnering with one of Yorkshire leading businesses through an exciting period of innovation and change. The Financial Reporting Manager will have a key role within a high performing and agile team responsible for financial reporting, delivery of board MI, statutory accounts and governance processes. The team currently has a number of vacancies from Manager to Senior Manager level.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Take a senior role within the financial reporting teams, responsible for co-ordination and delivery of the reporting process
- Producing and providing oversight of financial statements under IFRS
- Consolidation of Group financial data
- Providing insightful MI
- Manage small size investigations within reporting
- Act as key resource on larger projects
- Play a key role in supporting senior management and stakeholders
Skills & Experience required
- Fully Qualified accountant (e.g. ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Strong financial accounting and reporting knowledge (IFRS)
- Ability to manage complex processes with multiple inputs
- First class stakeholder management skills
- Financial Services experience would be advantageous but not essential
