Credit Controller

THE COMPANY:

Brewster Pratap are recruiting an experienced Credit Controller for a leading distribution business based in Sheffield. This is a temporary position and does require an immediate start. Based at the Head Office in Sheffield they are commutable from Barnsley, Rotherham and Chesterfield.

THE JOB:

Duties will include:

Reducing the level of outstanding debt and improving cash flow and the ledger profile
Managing and administering the sales ledger
Collecting overdue debt and maintaining an accurate record of all actions taken
Assisting the Assistant Collections Manager and colleagues in all aspects of credit control
Monitoring the resolution of on-going queries
Providing the highest level of customer service to internal and external clients
Other ad hoc duties as required.

THE PERSON:

Previous Credit Control experience is essential
Knowledge of accounting processes and procedures is essential
Good working knowledge of Excel is required
The ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines is essential
