*You'll be the key point of contact for preparing and co-ordinating G&A budgets and outlooks,
including preparing cost centre templates, assisting cost centre managers with submissions,
reviewing returned templates, preparing/analysing consolidated results and preparing
presentation materials for senior management
Responsibilities include:
*Preparing an analysis of consolidated UK first spend G&A vs. budgets and outlooks for the
current month, year to date and total year. Reconciling cost variations with headcount
movements and providing explanations for the variances
*Presenting monthly analysis to UK Finance management
*Preparing monthly rolling long-term cash flow forecasts utilising inputs from other Finance
reps to support the Financial Reporting Group in calculating proposed dividends
*Preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring balances are current and open items
cleared
*Assisting in account re-codes and general ledger cleansing as required and provide support
during the annual G&A audit
*Liaising with HR to collate and present headcount information, including the treatment of
unfilled positions
*Supporting the time writing process through maintenance of the project code list, sending out
reminders to the business and assisting with time sheet completion
*Preparing and posting monthly accruals for bonus and long term incentive schemes, payroll
tax items, audit fees, building costs, contractor accruals and other office accruals
The ideal candidate will:
- Be ACA or ACCA or CIMA Qualified (Finalist may be considered with strong industry experience)
- Have 3-5 years experience within the Energy industry
- Be academically strong and a possess a demonstrable desire to learn and develop - ideally holding a degree in Finance & Accounting (2:1 minimum)
