We have registered an amazing new opportunity for a Finance Officer (Part-Time) to join a creative charity based in Oxfordshire. Reporting to the Executive Director and working alongside a small financial team, you will be responsible for delivering precise and timely bookkeeping and providing necessary financial data for reporting.
Key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
- Accurate recording and maintenance of the company’s financial data
- Inputting and processing data to Sage
- Identifying and reconciling discrepancies and preparing cash and cheques
- Preparing monthly reconciliations
- Managing creditor and debtor control accounts
Job Requirements
The successful candidate will be AAT qualified, or equivalent, and have extensive experience in a bookkeeping role. You will have sound knowledge of MS office and various accounting software. You will have excellent numerical, communication and presentation skills. Attention to detail is key, as is the ability to work under pressure to meet targets and deadlines. It would be desirable if you have experience of producing VAT returns and preparing and processing monthly payroll.
