A leading service based company in Leeds is recruiting for a new Group Accountant, ideally ACA or ACCA but will consider CIMA qualified accountants. The role is within the Group finance function of this growing and expanding business. The role itself is an ideal first role in industry following qualification in practice as it will develop a wide variety of skills and experience. Furthermore this position offers clear progression opportunities over the short to medium term.
As a Group Reporting Accountant you will be involved in both internal and external reports as well gaining experience in other areas through ad-hoc project work. You will be exposed to senior finance colleagues as well as regular contact with the UK board. This position is a great opportunity to gain experience in group finance.
You will be a qualified accountant, ideally ACA or ACCA but will consider CIMA qualified accountants with up to date knowledge of UK GAAP and IFRS. In addition to this you will be a strong communicator and able to liaise with senior stakeholders.
