Our client, a rapid growth, highly acquisitive renewable energy company are looking for a switched on Financial Modeller to join their finance team.
The Financial Modeller will work as part of the Finance team, based in London, whose responsibility is the financial management and control of their clients portfolio of energy plants across the world as well as participating in M&A activities across the world. This role plays a pivotal role within the finance team and will give you significant exposure to the organisation, working at a very senior level.
Job Responsibilities:
- Build and maintain financial models
- Evaluate merits of potential investment opportunities
- Design, build and continuously improve high quality reports on the performance of each plant to management, investors and lenders and to detect signs of under-performance and their root cause
- Liaise with external and internal stakeholders during acquisition, due diligence and financing processes.
Ideal Candidate:
- Ideally 5-7 years project modelling experience
- Excellent excel skills
- Good relationship building
- Strong communication skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset
