Sellick Partnership are assisting in the recruitment of a Payroll Administrator to join a large organisation based in Newcastle. The payroll clerk will be responsible for the end to end processing of the monthly payroll for staff.
The role involves working within a team of 9, and will include the following:
- Payroll Processing
- Starters, leavers
- One-off payments, season ticket and bicycle loans
- Checking payroll changes
- Tax uploads
- Reporting and reconciliations
- Payroll reconciliations / Data cleansing
- Various reports
- Third party payments
- Assisting with correspondence and customer service
- Ad-Hoc tasks as and when required
Essential Experience:
- Demonstrated payroll processing experience
- Knowledge and experience of Microsoft Excel
- Ability to work with an exceptionally high degree of accuracy and to tight timescales
- Awareness or experience of working in a Shared Service Centre environment
- Understanding of payroll legislation and processes
- Excellent written and spoken communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience of using iTrent and Oracle R12 systems would be desirable
