Audit, Accounts and Tax Manager

Overview:

A 14 Partner firm based in Central London are looking for a Practice Manager with experience in audit, accounts and preferably corporation tax too. This is a client facing role so you must have excellent communication skills as well as strong technical knowledge.

If you are an ambitious Manager within Practice and you like the idea of being responsible for all financial and accounting aspects of your clients this is a great opportunity to progress in an all encompassing role and be able to advise on all areas of your client's business


Responsibilities:

- Preparation and review of financial statements and consolidated financial statements in accordance with UK and International Accounting Standards

- Reviewing of audit files to ensure compliance with the firm's audit methodology

- Presentation of audit findings to the Partners focusing on key areas

- Review of corporation tax computations and partnership tax returns for LLPs

- Presenting accounts and audit findings at board meetings

- Control costs, meet reporting timetables, prepare key client reporting documents

- Undertaking projects and special work

- Leading, developing and motivating a team of people, providing support and development through on the job coaching and appraisals

- Developing personal relationships with clients


Requirements:

The ideal candidate will be ACA/ACCA qualified with some experience leading teams while working within a busy accountancy practice and will demonstrate strong technical skills with knowledge of accounting, auditing, tax and VAT.
