Audit & Accounts Senior Manager

Overview:

A medium sized Practice firm based in Central London are looking to bring in a Senior Manager to run a portfolio of clients focusing on the Property sector. You will be responsible for managing the largest portfolio in the firm which predominantly consists of audit and accounts work.

In this role you will be the main client contact and will be responsible for advising the client on all accounting matters including any ad hoc projects required.


Responsibilities:

- Monitor and control the audit team - review their work, ensuring quality in compliance with professional standards

- Tailor Audit Programmes to suit client business environments and risk

- Achieve team and individual budgets and performance objectives

- Manage client relationships and identify opportunities; think strategically by understanding the client's needs, their business and key risks

- Identify ways to maximise the relationship and deliver added value

- Business development to identify and win new clients


Requirements:

- Experience of leading and managing an audit team to deliver high quality audit and assurance services

- Demonstrate personal qualities and credibility to lead, develop and motivate individuals and the team as a whole

- Ability to develop long term client relationships and deliver added value

- Can think strategically about client needs

- Track record in business development, contributing to proposal delivery

- Experience of dealing with senior and sometimes challenging individuals

- Ability to build rapport quickly with all employees and the executive team
