A Global Commodities Trading business is currently seeking a new Senior Financial Accountant. The Financial Accountant will be involved with multiple aspects of the company's finances including: Management Accounting, Financial control, Decision support and Management/Statutory reporting.
Reporting directly to the Head of Finance, The Financial Accountant's responsibilities will include:
- Complete month end, quarterly and annual accounting processes and reporting for subsidiaries
- Producing management reports
- Maintaining and controlling the general ledger of the company
- Business Partnering Management, other departments and Auditors, providing valuable information in an effective manner
- Produce statutory financial statements
- Decision support via Financial analysis
- Assist in other periodic and ad hoc Finance projects
Experience Required:
- ACA trained Accountant (Essential)
- Relevant post-qualified experience in industry (Essential)
- Experience of preparation of statutory financial statements (Essential)
- Desire to work in a varied role and take on responsibility for multiple projects (Essential)
- 2 - 6 years PQE (Desirable)
