Finance business analyst for healthcare organisation
Our client are a leading Global Healthcare organisation, and are recruiting an interim finance business analyst for a new project. The role is flexible on location, but requires you in Berkshire or London at least 3 days a week
Responsibilities
* Anticipates customer needs and proactively develops solutions to meet them. Customers to the
Solution Architect/Systems Analyst/Business Analyst include Senior Leadership, Application Owners,
Program Management, Enterprise leaders, and Business leads.
* Work within teams of Capability, Product Managers & Owner, Agile Programme and Project
Management, to define system scope and objectives through research, fact-finding, and business
requirements review.
* Day-to-day role will be to translate business requirements created by the Business Process
Owners into either configuration specifications (workflow, screen design, etc.) or interfacing with a
dedicated development team to help build the requisite functionality.
* Collaborate with customer and technology teams using approved SDLC processes.
* Perform data analysis using data requirements to provide standard structure and definitions.
Map data and process requirements across finance domains.
* Solves moderately complex problems and/or conducts moderately complex analyses.
* Coaches, provides feedback, and guides others including project teams, cross-functional teams,
and as team member. Acts as a resource for others with less experience.
* Provide guidance on ways to standardize process flows across finance Domain to business
partners where process steps impact applications. Translates concepts into practice.
* Negotiate, resolve, and prioritize complex issues and discrepancies-of-opinion by user groups.
Provides explanations and information to others on difficult issues.
* Create Solution Summary Document with High-level Milestones and Solution Design. Identifies
solutions to nonstandard requests and problems
* Works with minimal guidance; seeks guidance on only the most complex tasks.
* Estimates and organizes own work to meet or negotiate deadlines. Lead / facilitate the creation
of estimates.
* Maintain program or project capability roadmaps for relevant components/capabilities.
* Work with other capability owners to identify similar project objects to build reusable
development outputs.
Required Qualifications:
* 5+ years experience in business analysis, systems analysis, data analysis, software design, or a
combination of roles within the SDLC lifecycle.
* 5+ years experience with finance processes and policies
* 3+ years experience streamlining and standardizing business processes.
* Bachelor's degree.
* 1+ years Agile experience
Assets:
* Healthcare industry experience
* Previously involvement in development and deployment of a consumer facing application
* Exposure to high-profile projects with multiple system integrations
