My client, a rapidly expanding professional services firm, is keen to appoint a qualified Financial Accountant, for an interim role to cover maternity leave.

Reporting to the Financial Controller, you will be working on a fixed term contract for a 15 month period initially.  This is a pivotal role for the business with key responsibilities, which include:

  • Management of a small finance team
  • Monthly management accounts production, including journal entries etc.
  • Year-end statutory accounts production and assisting with the year end audit process
  • Production of Tax Pack
  • Overseeing VAT returns
  • Balance sheet reconciliations
  • Assisting the financial controller with ad-hoc project work, including due diligence on potential acquisitions

This is an excellent opportunity to join an interesting business, in a unique sector, during a period of expansion. 

Role will suit an enthusiastic, charismatic, outgoing individual with strong financial accounting skills and plenty of statutory accounts experience. 

You must be a fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) and be able to provide commitment for the full 15 month assignment.
