An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Reporting Accountant with extensive experience of process improvements. This will be a 3 month project-based assignment based in Berkshire for a large business currently going through a major transformation.
The Financial Reporting Accountant will be responsible for:
- Ensuring the integrity and accuracy of the reporting numbers
- Month end reporting process including calculation and posting of journals, journal reviews and working with offshore colleagues
- Preparation and review of balance sheet reconciliations
- Review process notes prepared offshore and make recommendations for change
- Be proactive in implementing process improvements to further improve efficiency and accuracy of reported numbers
The Financial Reporting Accountant will be a qualified accountant (ACA / ACCA / CIMA) with advanced excel skills and ideally experience of SAP BW. You must be able to challenge and push back in order to influence a number of key senior stakeholders.
