This is a fantastic opportunity for a Newly Qualified ACA looking for their first step into industry, or equally a newly qualified ACCA from a group company background looking for a step up with a FTSE 250 listed company.

Key Responsibilities:
-Supporting the Group Financial Reporting Manager in the preparation of the annual report and interim financial statements of the Group
-Supporting in the preparation for the year-end audit and the interim review, including in leading the preparation of the Accounting Matters Report for the Board
-Own and Lead the Balance Sheet review process including presenting to the Board and stakeholders around the business
-Responsibility of technical advice and guidance internally within finance and externally outside finance in relation to IFRS
-Support ad hoc initiatives such as implementing better financial controls
-Support the Financial Reporting Team's relationship with other finance teams with respect to technical guidance

What we are looking for:
-Strong academic background and an excellent degree (2:1 minimum)
-Newly qualified (ACA/ACCA) or 1 year + PQE
-Good technical knowledge of IFRS and experience of preparing/auditing financial statements under IFRS
-Ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines
