A technological business driven by investment and innovation providing cutting edge research that creates modern materials used in a range of market leading consumer products is looking to hire a qualified Finance Manager to take a lead in providing business support, commercial business partnering and accounting intelligence.

Initially the role will have the feel of a start-up as the business is being separated from its parent and therefore there will be element of set up of process and management of systems. As Finance Manager you will work closely with the Group FC to provide the necessary updates, insight and reporting and closely align with the CEO and Group FD are keen to help and grow the business.

You will look to invoke best practice and ensure the smooth running of the department. As the business grows your remit will reflect this and provides a significant career opportunity to get involved in strategy and commercial planning.

Hudson are now working exclusively to identify suitable individuals with an ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification that are interested in an upwards career with a fast moving technological business. The successful individual is likely to have roughly 2 to 5 years post qualification experience in a commercial finance team and have excellent communication skills.

As finance manager your logical approach to set-up of processes and systems in line with the parent company is key as are your ability to liaise effectively at senior level c suite executives.
