Financial Accountant - Real Estate. Our Client is a UK based real estate investor and asset management company. They look specifically at commercial assets across the London area including full transactions services. They are now looking for a Financial Accountant.

 

The Role: Reporting to the Finance Director will require one to fulfil the following duties:

  • Preparing management and financial accounting for all companies.
  • Producing statutory accounts.
  • Preparing annual corporate tax returns and quarterly VAT submissions.
  • Producing bank loan covenant reporting.
  • Liaising with managing agents regarding service charges, reconciliation of void charges and VAT.
  • Managing the treasury function/principal contact for banking arrangements.
  • Handling the rental invoicing, rent collection, credit control and purchase ledger

 

The Person: To apply, you MUST be either qualified or part qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA). It is advantageous that you have experience of working in a Real Estate investment company. It is desirable that you have experience of using accounts packages such as Sage and Oracle. The candidate must have excellent communication skills and be comfortable to act as main company contact to some clients.
