Senior Commercial Finance Analyst, Slough £45,000 - £55,000 per annum plus Bonus plus Benefits
We have an outstanding opportunity for a commercially astute analyst professional with a progressive background in a large leisure, hospitality or retail business to join a large, rapidly growing, and household name as a Senior Commercial Finance Analyst.
This is a highly commercial role with the successful candidate playing a large part in supporting business innovations and initiatives, maximising business opportunities and appraising new site openings.
Key Objectives and Responsibilities
- Deliver the 5 year business plan, budgeting and forecasting
- Review and report performance against budget plans and forecast
- Deliver process review and improvement
- Work closely with the other analysts to ensure key responsibilities are covered by all
- Ensuring the department build up links in to financial budgets and forecasts
- Monitoring and reporting on trade providing insight into business over/under performance
- KPI reporting, designing and implementing dashboards to report on performance and highlighting risks and opportunities
- Providing commercial challenge and insight to sales, stock, intake, price and margin management, from a finance perspective
- Supporting the merchandising teams with implementing and streamlining processes to accurately report information in a consistent manner
- Producing key brand schedules and analysis for weekly/monthly reporting
The successful candidate will be CIMA/ACA Qualified Accountant with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels from senior management to junior analysts. You will have the ability to challenge senior management in a professional manner, communicate finance to non finance team members and be able to motivate other colleagues within the brand. Quick to understand complex problems, strong attention to details, a service ethos and the ability to work cross functionally with high drive and energy to achieve end results.
