Senior Management Accountant / Manufacturing Accountant

Reporting to the Group Management Accountant, the role of Management Accountant will be part of a small team that support numerous manufacturing site across the UK. This position is hands on and will suit an operationally focussed accountant, that can roll up their sleeves, get out into the factory and challenge a variety of ‘non-financial’ stake holders. Main duties;

• Month end close processes
• Inventory analysis
• Valuation and accuracy
• Preparing reports for circulation to factory management and company directors
• Analysis of standard costs for trends, changes, planning, product profitability and stock valuation

This is a rounded Management Accountant role and will work as financial representative, on the site management team. Close partnering is required with the factory team on developing reporting and control procedures. The role will take the lead in the preparation of regular forecasts and the annual budget for their manufacturing sites.

The ideal candidate;
Finalist / Qualified - CIMA, ACCA (PQ's and QBE's should also apply)
Experience working in an FMCG / Manufacturing environment
Strong interpersonal skills
Ability to influence stakeholders through effective business partnering
Excel - Look ups and Pivots etc
