Description
A Leading global asset management firm based in the heart of London is currently looking for an EMEA Finance Manger. This company has gone through massive growth over the past 2 years with changes to its business structure and are now looking for an EMEA Finance Manager.
This role will report directly into the Finance Controller who reports into the CFO.
This company has extremely high retention with most senior members of staff being within the organisation for over 7 years. This role will have management responsibility and gives the candidate the ability to develop and assist with the building of their team.

This role will provide support to the Financial Controller and will involve Statutory Reporting, Regulatory Reporting, Corporation Tax, VAT Reporting and monthly duties.

This role will also provide the individual project work and help with the development of the companies' process improvement. Big 4 or strong Audit background would be advantageous

Experience
*Previous Experience in asset management will be required
*Fully Qualified Accountant with working asset management knowledge
*Audit Experience from Big 4 practice or Equivalent
*Experience of using Cass to produce financial statement experience
*Experience of managing a team
*Strong entity control and consolidation experience is a must
*Clear understanding of current accounting practice including accounts preparation (group level accounting preferable).
*Good level of understanding of U.K Corporation Tax computations
*Experience in preparing and submitting FSA returns for Investment Management firms
*Experience in preparing quarterly U.K. VAT returns with knowledge of partial exemption method.

System experience
*Strong system experience is required for this role
* Experience and working knowledge of GABRIEL/ Coda/Cognos
*Experience of using Cassware system to produce financial statement

Duties
Statutory Accounts: Preparing draft financial accounts for various UK and European legal entities including group consolidations.

Corporation Tax: Reviewing monthly tax provisions for various legal entities. Calculating the year ends provisions for all entities as part of the year ends close process. Calculating and paying quarterly and annual corporation tax instalments.

Regulatory Reporting: Reviewing and or preparing regulatory returns and submitting to the FSA through their electronic reporting system. Producing the monthly EMEA Reg Cap report for U.S. Treasury and monitoring distributable cash.
