A global technology business based just outside the city centre are looking to appoint a Financial Controller. Reporting into the CFO you will be responsible for the day to day running of the finance department whilst also getting exposed to investment activity. Key duties will include:
- Produce monthly management accounts on a timely basis together with the reporting pack
- Cashflow forecasting and managing the collection of cash on a timely basis
- Consolidate group cash position and report to the CFO
- Continually improve the financial reporting for the UK and US entity
- Development of a new accounting package ensuring the system is fully operational meeting company requirements
- Support non-financial colleagues with new accounting processes and new system changes
- Support the CFO with investment activity
Successful candidates must be qualified, have experience of foreign currency trading and be able to demonstrate strong IT/systems skills.
