A well established and market leading legal software company is looking to recruit an experienced Legal Cashier to join their large, friendly and award winning team based in their modern Liverpool office. As an outsourced legal accounts bureau team member, the successful applicant will be tasked with managing their own client portfolio and will be responsible for providing a full range of cashiering duties.

The Legal Cashier responsibilities will include:

  • Posting all accounting transactions in accordance with current procedures and legilsation
  • Set up of new matters and recording of time transactions for your allocated clients and any other sites as given to you
  • Producing daily/weekly/monthly audit trails & reports in accordance with policies, procedures & SAR. This will include management reports, bank, client balance, LAA and VAT reconciliations
  • Liaising with clients, auditors etc to answer queries and offer suggestions
  • Visiting client sites when deemed necessary by your manager
  • Maintaining internal systems of control (including filing, computerised records and reporting sheets)
  • Training and supporting any new or existing member of staff in any area your manager requests

To be considered for this role, applicants must have a minimum of 2 years' previous cashiering experience within a similar role and must possess knowledge of the SRA Accounts Rules. Applicants without this experience will not be eligible to be considered for this opportunity.
