Interim Financial Controller

Our multi-site manufacturing/distribution client require an Interim Financial Controller for 3-6 months, based in Manchester. You will report directly into the UK Finance Director and be responsible for managing and motivating a large team (circa. 60 people) with 5 direct reports, throughout a period of change. You will be responsible for maintaining an environment of continuous improvement, ensuring robust financial controls and timely reporting to meet month and year-end deadlines. You will support the budgeting process providing commentary and cash flow monitoring whilst also overseeing the production of the statutory accounts. You must be technically well-versed and have experience liaising with internal and external auditors.  You must be highly systems literate and comfortable within a large, matrix organisation in order to support your team as they transition to a new ERP system. You must have strong team management skills, with experience identifying weaknesses and changes required with regards to people, processes and procedures.
