My client, a reputable financial services organisation, is actively searching a qualified accountant to support the Financial Planning and Analysis Manager
Key responsibilities will include
• Assistance with the preparation of Annual budgets utilising financial modelling packages and updating of those forecasts and projections on a monthly basis
• Assistance with the preparation of monthly management information
• Assistance with the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual returns to the regulators
• Assistance with the preparation of half year and annual accounts in compliance with the relevant regulatory regime and standard accounting practices
• New/incidental MI
• stress testing/scenario analysis
• Provision of other financial information for Board and/or regulator
Being a qualified accountant, ideally ACA or ACCA you will have the following skills and experience
• Financial and management accounting
• Advanced Excel
• Able to work on stand-alone delivery basis
• Hands on approach
• Key team player
• Ability to be flexible and able to adapt to different types of workload, efficiently and effectively
• Driven and motivated
• Time and deadline focused
• Understanding of IFRS9 desirable but not essential
